Evaluation Planning for Action Plan
The evaluation process is a major part of the Technology Integration Action Plan. It aides
in the development of the plan, provides feedback on if the plan is effective, and helps identify
weakness areas that may need to be revamped. The evaluation process also helps campus leaders
allocate resources and trainings in areas where they will be most beneficial to the organization.
Listed below are suggested evaluation methods for my campus’s Integrated Technology Action
Plan….
o Focus groups will be held with teachers and students to collect data on the use, need, and
perceived impact of the technology integrated plan.
o Classroom observations will to gain information on what technology is being used and
how often. These walkthroughs will also monitor whether teachers are supporting the
initiative.
o Annual technology surveys will be completed by students to determine if staff is
routinely and effectively using technology as stated in the Campus Improvement Plan.
o Bi-annual technology surveys will be completed by Stakeholders to determine if staff is
routinely and effectively using technology as stated in the Campus Improvement Plan
o Teachers will be required to post teacher technology self-evaluation rubrics, and to ensure
that they meet the minimal requirements during each lesson.
o Teachers will be required to meet the twenty-five percent rule for technology use during
annual appraisals and walkthroughs.
o Principals will be expected to ensure that teachers log at least nine hours of technology
staff developments each year.
